All variants come with a hub motor, capable of 3 kW of power (4.4 kW peak, during acceleration) and 33 Nm of torque (140 Nm peak, during acceleration).

The hub motor is near silent, and offers great refinement, even at higher speeds. Hub motors are also lower on maintenance.

The motor powers the iQube to a top speed of 82 km/h (78 km/h on the 2.2 kWh variant), which is adequate for urban usage.

It comes with 2 riding modes - Eco and Power. In Eco, the top speed is capped to 47 km/h, while Power allows for full performance. A switch on the handlebar allows for seamless change between the two modes, without needing to stop.

Performance in Eco mode is commendable, allowing for brisk overtakes at city speeds. However, for better performance on faster stretches, Power mode is ideal.

Charging the iQube is aided by a 650W wall charger, available as standard on the lower variants. This can charge the 2.5 kWh variant to 80 percent in under 3 hours.

The larger 3.5 kWh and 5.4 kWh variants get an optional, 950W onboard charger, that reduces the charging time further.

The iQube also benefits from regenerative braking. Rolling off the accelerator, the iQube slows down more quickly, while also charging the battery pack using the harvested energy.
