The Porsche Cayenne Electric has two models – the standard Cayenne Electric and the Cayenne Turbo Electric – both of which are underpinned by a 113 kWh HV battery, based on an 800V architecture.

The Cayenne Electric is powered by a 325 kW/835 Nm (peak) motor that enables a 4.8-second 0-100kmph sprint, and a top speed of 230kmph. Claimed range stands at 642 km.

The Cayenne Turbo Electric takes things a notch higher, with the setup rated to churn out 850 kW/1, 500 Nm, enabling a 2.8-second 0-100kmph sprint, and a top speed of 260kmph. An additional 130 kW can be supplied for a 10-second boost. Claimed range stands at 623 km.

With regards to charging speeds, the Cayenne Electrics support DC fast-charge rates of up to 400 kW, which add 325 km (standard) and 315 km (Turbo) in 10 minutes. Additionally, the HV battery can be juiced up from 10-80 per cent in 16 minutes. The Cayenne Electrics can also be charged by an 11 kW inductive (wireless)charger, wherein the car needs to be placed on a dedicated charging plate.
